Beyond Analysis

About us

The Maghreb (or المغرب, meaning “the west” in Arabic) is the strategically significant region of north-west Africa whose nations share a broadly similar Arab-Imazighen language, culture and history.

These energy-rich and geographically diverse nations are Algeria, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Tunisia and the disputed Western Sahara.

Formerly the Arab Research & Advocacy Bureau (ARAB), the Maghrebi Geopolitical Research Bureau (MGRB) provides credible insights on key socioeconomic indicators affecting the Maghreb region.

Choose us

Many existing organisations provide research on Maghrebi nations in the context of wider Middle Eastern and North African (MENA) analysis.

This “MENA approach” overlooks the specific socioeconomic characteristics that are unique to the region and distinguish Maghrebi countries from other African, Arab, and Muslim nations.

Our authentic approach to Maghrebi research provides more nuanced and comprehensive insights presented in a user-friendly format.

These insights enable businesses and policymakers to deploy more targeted and effective regional projects, yielding improved and more identifiable results.
